Loved it. It was the perfect relaxing weekend that we needed.

Our stay was peaceful and comforting, we had everything we need it, and shops are 15 minutes away in car.

My family and I had a great get away. The home was clean and we felt at home. Very quiet area. We will definitely be back.

The house was conveniently located, in a beautiful setting, and big enough for our family. However, we noticed cobwebs with associated pests in most of the rooms. The outside table on the deck was dirty. The downstairs beds were very uncomfortable, with extremely noticeable movement in the bedframes. The house was very hard to cool down during a heat wave, and the apparent central air conditioner wasn't working (probably fan only). The stove hood vents to an area between the cabinets and the ceiling, above the stove. Bottle caps were found in the garbage disposer. Most of the window blinds are broken or don't work very well.

Overall the place was great. It did look a lot bigger in the pictures and when you see it from the outside it looks even smaller. Thankfully there was enough space for all. The bed in the loft and the bunk bed I heard were very bumpy and uncomfortable. The other 2 beds were very comfortable. We were able to use the kitchen and the outdoor bbq and even the jacuzzi with no issues.
The place has high ceilings which are great but with the summer heat can bring out lots of the critters. My husband being 6’ 5” caught lots of spider webs especially in the master bedroom.
We had plenty of towels and toiletries in the bathroom. The washer and dryer were a nice added feature and made it easy to wash our wet clothes after spending time on the lake.
The outdoor trash bins were full midway through our stay and with one text message the staff was able to come take it away so we could continue to clean up after ourselves. Thank you for your quick response and help.

If you are wanting something away from downtown but also a short drive to restaurants and the lake, this is a perfect location.

This was my worst Air B N B stay experience and this will be my last booking with air bnb they have inefficient or untrained customer service. This place is horrible I m still not sure how air bnb approved this place to list I m sure the host might be paying them Premium and I m sure this feedback will be deleted so that people don’t get to see real feedbacks.

This house is a complete mess.. house totally infested with spiders, lights doesn’t work, hot water enough only for 2-3 showers, every piece of furniture you will feel like it will break if you touch it. There are 2 pick up trucks right opposite to house makes you feel unsafe.

We had to checkout the house immediately next day morning and air bnb gave us $57 refund when we paid $1200. Stay out of making any reservations with air bnb it’s a scam!

We were in town for 72 mile bike ride around Lake Tahoe, so a peaceful place for sleep and recovery were high priority. Place was quiet, beds were very comfortable and hot tub with gorgeous mountain view was perfect for our getaway. Would say here again, thank you for having us

It was a good place to stay just a 15 min Uber to Stateline I had a small group of 5 which was perfect but not sure if the max of 9 people would have been comfortable house is nice and cozy

We had a great stay at this home. We were comfortable, it was convenient for those that ski and easy to get to shops and restaurants.
We had 7 people in our group and the space was adequate. I will mention that the pictures make the rooms look larger than they actually are. So if you are concerned about space, maybe ask if you can obtain square footage information.
The kitchen was stocked with the essentials but it is small and counter space is limited. We ate out most evenings so only sharing if you plan to cook meals for a group as that could be challenging.
There is no mud room so boots, ski gear, etc. takes up space in the kitchen/dining area. We stored our boards on the deck most of the time.
Overall, this home was great for us and we were very comfortable.

Lux Villa is located 10 min drive from Heavenly ski resort which was perfect for our family ski trip. The kitchen is very well equipped. We were making full dinners every night. The hot tub was very enjoyable and the extra towels around the house were appreciated. The mattress in the bottom bedroom was spring and very uncomfortable. Water pressure is good, toiletries and the washer and dryer were a huge plus. The house is great for its value. Don't expect fancy or aesthetic but the space is good for big groups. TV is small, some things needed repair but I would still give it 5 stars. I'd stay there again for the proximity, space, and the communication received from Lux Villa.

Beautiful location close to casinos, the lake and many other great amenities. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, quick stop at grocery store and we had everything we needed to make it our home away from home.

Host was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

Overall this was an awesome place to stay the kitchen was the best part they had spices, utensils, and everything you needed to cook with. Very spacious and open floor plan enough seating for everyone to be together. The view was great, the sheets and blankets were amazing and accommodated well.

I hate to share cons but hopefully they will help make improvements for the next guests:

As soon as we go in we were exited to go into the jacuzzi to be met with scum on the hot tub wall, it didn’t look like they did a good job cleaning it and there was beer cans left from previous guests. We did see lots of spiders and there was a small amount of mice poop in the sink when we got there. Make SURE to bring plenty of extra towels they did not nearly have enough for the 9 people and the towels they did provide were very small. Wish they had a closet with extra towels and dish towels for the kitchen.

We had a great family vacation here. Because the house is at the end of a cul-de-sac, the views from the hot tub are great; we got some fresh snow while we were there so we sled down the hill; and it is nice and quiet. As others noted, the backyard is fenced, but it is more of a deck than a yard (which was fine for us). With all the snow we've gotten in 2023, I don't think you can fit three cars in the driveway until some of the snow melts and it took our non-AWD car a couple of tries to get up the hill to the driveway. Heads up that the kitchen is very small so it might be a challenge to do ambitious cooking here.

Great Tahoe cabin in super close proximity to heavenly resort. The hot tub was amazing after a day on the slopes. Very proactive and thorough host that provided easy instructions. Highly recommend this place for those looking for a convenient place to rest and relax after skiing all day.

The hosts were nice and immediately responsive! Me and my friends stayed from Friday - Sunday morning, and the hosts and experienced no issues. South Lake Tahoe was beautiful and we had no issues with the property what-so-ever. The only Issue we had as with opening a sliding door, to which the property managers responded right away with possible solutions. Thank you, I would most definitely stay the night there again!

Great location for skiing and sledding. Came here as two families with kids and a dog. Really easy to get to, great layout for little kids, wonderful to bring our dog.

We do have a medium size high energy dog and it was extremely difficult to find places for him to run around. The actual fenced yard is not much more then the deck, and there are roads, no trespassing signs, and another home surrounding this property.

But the beds are great, rooms are spacious, and proximity to heavenly and Whole Foods makes it ideal.

Minutes from the main street. Hot tub was great. very quiet and peaceful area. Very strict with noise. Absolutely no outside noise past 10:00. We appreciated the quiet.

Great stay!

My group of 10 people and 2 dogs stayed here for 3 nights. It was slightly cramped with that many people, so I would recommend 7-8 people max. We were able to park 3 cars in the driveway no problem. The airbnb was well stocked, and the grill and hot tub were much appreciated. The enclosed yard was smaller than expected and was basically a dirt slope, so we didn't really let our dogs play there. The place was conveniently located close to some grocery stores and various tourists spots, and the host was responsive to questions and accommodating with our request for an early check-in. All in all we had a very nice stay, would recommend for smaller sized groups.

The rental is in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful meadow view from the balcony. We really liked: the nice touches like photos on the walls, the little makeup removal towelettes in the bathrooms, the beds were nice and very comfortable, and the hot tub was clean and worked perfectly. The kitchen had most of the things we needed to cook every night, but was missing some basic cooking supplies (cookie sheets, aluminum foil, plastic wrap to name a few) and generally felt like a collection of mismatched old supplies all collected for use by guests.

We rated cleanliness 3/5 because while the beds and bathrooms were clean, and were happy to see the couch was much cleaner than we expected for a dog friendly place, the large rug in the living room smelled of dog urine and made the living room smell of it too. For the cleaning fee being over $400 for the stay, this seemed like a large oversight to not take care of.

A minor note, though it didn't affect our rating is that the lightning is pretty inadequate throughout the unit, it is not as bright and cheery as the photos suggest. The lights in the kitchen are clinical harsh white, and the living is dark and pretty gloomy feeling once the sun goes down.

Our stay was nice, but we aren't sure we'd pick this place again for our next trip.

This Airbnb was in a good location at the end of a street. The place was stocked with what we needed. The owners were very responsive with our needs.

The carpet had some minor stains here and there but not major. Our only big issue was that this place did not have AC during the summer. It got to 80+ degrees inside the home in the afternoon and we were putting ice packs on ourselves to cool off.

We feel as if we left some personal belongings and wanted to double check if anything has been found

House needs a lot of tlc,
Lots of webs and spiders , broken window locks , microwave has to be opened with your finger through a hole, carpets are very dirty . It is a dog friendly house but unable to let dog out due to holes under fence. Was happy with location !

The location was perfect. Close enough to get to the casino, stores and the lake, but also far enough to enjoy the quietness and the natural beauty that Tahoe has to offer. The house was very clean and it was spacious for our family - 3 adults, 3 kids and our dog Kobe. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great location and great views come with this home. Close to the downtown area of South Lake Tahoe but still far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. I would 100% stay here again.

Great house! Check in was easy just use the padlock on the door. They have better couches to lounge in than in the picture. Kitchen has everything you need like pots, pans, blender, toaster, and utensils. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms have shades for privacy. Bathrooms were very clean and had soap and body wash in shower in case you forgot. They have towels but they are pretty small so bring your own. They also have a mini laundry in the downstairs bathroom with washer and dryer stocked with whatever you may need. Hot tub was clean and easy to use. The deck has a beautiful view. The location is pretty private there’s a house a couple of feet behind the property but it was only occupied for one day during our stay. Grocery stores are pretty close, Safeway is about 8min. We drove from LA and bought all of our groceries at Safeway so we wouldn’t worry about the food during the 7hr drive and everything was reasonably priced and we found everything we wanted. One thing though was that since it is a pet friendly house there was some animal fur on the couches so bring a lint roller. Overall it was a very nice house and we would definitely stay here again.

Black Bart Hideaway lived up to the reviews and listing promises. We had five adults and two small dogs. We were all pleased with the accommodations. We had a great game night. There are many reminders about noise after 10 pm so we were careful to comply. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others travel their fur babies.

This property was the perfect spring break getaway with our kids and dogs. It was cozy and nestled in the back of a quiet neighborhood. We didn’t expect a snowstorm till a week before our trip, so we were in for a cold one! However, the property management allowed us to check in a day early to prevent any road delays getting there. Communication was quick and responsive. The spa was nice and a relaxing touch to the property. It was clean and the temperature was perfect. The washer/dryer was convenient for the cold and wet days. There’s not a lot of places that are pet friendly, but this place was and surprisingly did not smell like it. There is a perfect gated area for your pets to do their business which was nice to have. You are about 5 minutes away from town and restaurants for any quick trips out. Overall, our stay couldn’t have been better and we really enjoyed our time!

Amazing location - central to everything but private. The house itself has everything you need, feels like a standard Tahoe vacation rental. The hosts communication was extremely reliable which I appreciated. It’s also dog friendly which is SO rare in Tahoe and we REALLY appreciated that- bringing the dog was a non negotiable for us. Great 3 bedroom house with an additional loft that has a pullout couch. The beds were very comfortable and the house was exactly like it was described. The house was clean and communication with the host was very easy and they always replied promptly.

We had an incredible stay here! The location was perfect, so close to skiing, restaurants, hiking, & so much more! The home was even larger than expected, located in a private, quiet neighborhood, & had great amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub, especially after long days of skiing, and even more-so watching sunsets from the deck. The beds were comfortable, and the yard was nice to let our pup roam around. We really appreciated the extra amenities, like shampoo/body wash, plenty of paper towels & TP, as well as laundry and dish detergents (which often aren’t provided in other airbnbs so it was a nice touch!) The host was very responsive & communicative. We absolutely would love to stay here again!

Overall, not bad. This cabin is a bit overpriced for the age of the cabin and the cleanliness needs improvement. There are spiderwebs ALL over the place. The heater was also not working correctly on day 1, but I will give them credit for taking care of it quickly and sending an HVAC technician out same day to get it fixed. Great cabin if you have a larger group and want quick access to Heavenly. Any more than 8 adults will get cramped.

A couple nights in this cabin that was just the right size for a few friends this winter. The hot tub was perfect on the cold snowy nights to relax after play in the snow all day.

Wonderful, serene location with only a few nearby neighbors-it still felt secluded and private. The house was very clean, the second we walked in we could actually smell the cleanliness which was automatically inviting. Hot tub was fantastic and worked well; strict enforced quite hours 10p-7a. Ample amenities. Would definitely recommend this place for a medium sized group of friends!

The house was very comfortable, clean, well furnished, and in a quiet area with a nice view. The beds were comfortable, with nice linens, plenty of covers, and fluffy pillows. The hot tub was great. They had dishwasher soap, laundry soap etc there as well. Its a little confusing because the front door of the house seems like its on the back side of the house, but it makes sense once you walk in. The bear box was close, and easy to open (but don't tell the bears). We were very comfortable there. Would definitely recommend this place.

Dog area has its doors that needs to be fixed to really keep dogs safely in. Suggestion to fix and clean dog area was sent on 3/29/2021. Plz see with them if these issue were fixed if bringing your pet. Otherwise, the stay was peaceful and accommodating. Good location.

Very family-friendly weekend house. The kids had a great time playing in the snow right next to the house and it was nice to be on a cul-de-sac for playtime safety too.

The rental was great for the weekend. Happy we could have our pup with us and there is a fenced in area where he could play outside while we were enjoying the hot tub. The HVAC was pretty inconsistent- either super hot or super cold and the lights in the house flickered or turned on randomly when it would run. Overall it was a nice stay and perfect for a long weekend. It had everything we needed and plenty of space for 2 couples and a dog.

The rental company was very responsive and we were able to do an early check in.
