Downstairs has 9 foot tall ceilings, includes 3 spacious guest bedrooms, a guest bathroom, and a family/game room with a wet bar, mini-fridge, and a flat screen TV. This home is located near miles of hiking/biking trails, the Upper Truckee River, Sierra at Tahoe and Kirkwood Ski resorts nearby as well as Heavenly. You will absolutely love this home!

Worth Mentioning
* Both the City of South Lake Tahoe & The County of El Dorado have become extremely strict in enforcement of posted rules which can be found in the rental agreement. Be sure to become familiar with said rules to avoid steep fines and visits from the authorities
* This home sits in a quiet (mostly residential) neighborhood and therefore extra consideration should be made to keep the noise down.
* This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products and 1 large towel and wash cloth per guest. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival. Laundry detergent is not provided.
* We have a strict no party policy, the registered guest will need to be 25+, excessive use of the property/ extra cleaning required/ failure to follow checkout procedures/ breach of rental agreement will result in steep additional charges.
Cleaning fees also include: Maintenance, supplies, restocking costs. This pays for guest consumables (Such as laundry detergent, soaps, shampoos, starter set of paper towels, tp, etc. For longer stays, we ask guests to purchase). Replacement of items such as broken coffee makers, portable heaters, fans, linens, towels and more. Regular trash removal from bear bins to town dump. We ask guests to assist with optional checkout procedures that are very time consuming such as start dishwasher, wash a load or two of towels. While these procedures are optional for guests, they are highly appreciated to help save our cleaners time, particularly for our back to back turnovers which are very difficult in the Vacation Home Rental industry. – Thank You Lux Villa VR

Great place to stay near incredible beaches in South Lake. Lovely house and very spacious. Very accurate compared to description.
Only thing to notice, the refrigerator didn't work properly. We reached out to the property's manager and they replied that it was common that it took some time for it to cool considering cleaning staff opening the refrigerator often and it goes to being completely empty to having a lot of food. However, it never cooled enough for the entirety of our stay. It's not a big deal, but we had to buy more ice than expected, which was inconvenient.
Still, will totally recommend this place for large groups.

It's a pretty quiet spot and very cozy. However, the fees were pretty high. We didn't notice the 400 plus cleaning fee and service fee until we booked. I guess, our bad. The bath towels are super small and there's not extra wash clothes. We were surprised by the lack of basic items like: coffee, spices, oil, iron and blow dryer. The places we've stayed at before had way more, but maybe people take stuff. Overall it was nice and clean. The neighbors are very friendly!

The place was just as described, they had everything you need. From needing a shovel to dig ourselves out of the driveway to towels and they were quick to respond when I had any questions or concerns. The places we visited were more in town like a 15 minute drive not too bad so if don’t mind driving a little this is the place for you. We visited during a storm so we had to book another night at a cost which was a little inconvenient.

Great place and felt like home. Clean and very comfortable with clear instructions for check in and check out. Close to snow parks, casinos, and shopping centers. We went during winter snow, only thing I recommend if possible is to have a pathway to the backyard for kids to play in the snow. Otherwise, had a great time. We will be back!

This was a wonderful property, I would not hesitate to stay here again. We came to Tahoe to have a little family reunion and altogether my siblings, parents, and I had three separate houses and this one, by far, was the best.
