Well, to start off the kitchen was very very dark and little to no lighting. The hot tub was up a steep hill and smelled so bad like someone dumped gallons of chlorine in it. Also, it was green and not in a convenient location. Another thing was the shower water smelled like rust, and the water was not draining. Also, the toilet was leaking and not secured down. I would not recommend this place. The view next-door was like a ran down house with a bunch of junk all over the place. We really booked this place for the Jacuzzi, which we did not get to use. Not happy with the stay. Also not very close to the town, nothing to do and very dark and depressing not to mention it was very dusty and look like it had not been cleaned. There was no clean sheets. Everything was rolled up in a ball as if someone used it and shoved it in the closet pillows had no pillowcases on them. The sliding glass door was very very dirty. I don’t think this place had been clean for months would not stay again and would not recommend.

Stayed here with a group of 5 friends; probably would have still been comfortable with a few more. Very spacious indoor space and outdoor deck. The kitchen was especially spacious and well stocked - between that and the grill, we unexpectedly ended up cooking all of our meals during our weekend. We loved having the poker table and the large dining room table. Location is quiet and peaceful. It took maybe ~20 minutes to drive to town, with a variety of grocery and fast food options located closer than that.

My family and I stayed for 5 nights this summer and had a great stay. The house has great storage right when you walk in; perfect for shoes and helmets and all the summer gear!
The beds and linens were very comfortable and the kitchen is well labeled and well stoked. We cooked every breakfast and almost every dinner and I felt very at home in their kitchen. The deck off the main living area has a bbq and large picnic table. It’s very peaceful and the forest behind the property is quiet and beautiful. The garage space was clutch too! We could store all our bikes and fishing gear and keep everything safely secured and organized. We’ll be back!

Great get away spot in South Lake Tahoe. We were far enough away to feel cozy but close enough for hiking, kayaking and visiting the casinos. Great trailheads near this location. . The jacuzzi was also well maintained and far enough from the main house to feel private.

One word: fantastic! The house is beautiful and very roomy; there were 7 of us altogether and it never felt crowded or cramp. The kitchen was incredible and perfect for a couple of family dinners, everyone had more than enough room. The house was well-stocked with all the basic amenities. As for the location, it was perfect. Close enough to town to get there in a few minutes, but far enough away to think you’re out in the forest somewhere. Definitely will be staying here again.

This place was good. You can get to do all kinds activities in South Lake Tahoe within 15 min drive. The kitchen has lots of kitchenware to use. Lots of board games and Xbox were provided. We had so much fun during our stay.
