Heavenly Hideaway is located in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. Walk right out of your back yard to find the lake just a half mile away. Head to Lakeview Commons for access to the lake, picnics, and summer concerts. Skier and snowboarders will be sure to love how close Heavenly Mountain is. Casinos, shops, and restaurants are all within a few minutes. After your eventful day, recover and relax in this amazing remodeled vacation rental.
Newly remodeled from the ground up, this unique home certainly makes a statement! The owners have thought of everything, outfitting the entire home with contemporary furnishings and numerous high-end amenities which complement the rustic characteristics.
Upon entering you'll begin to notice the details in every direction you look. A custom designer kitchen to the right is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and beautiful wooden dining table. An open floor plan connects the living room. This room features a gorgeous fireplace and large HD television - such a cozy spot to watch a movie at night.
When it's time to retire for the evening, you'll have 4 bedrooms to choose from including a master bedroom with King bed, additional fireplace, and TV. The master bathroom makes getting ready in the morning a luxury. This bathroom has a tub, standalone shower, and his-and-her sinks. Two more bedrooms are furnished with Queen beds. The fourth bedroom plays host to dual single over single custom-built bunk beds. There is also a loft with Queen pullout sleeper sofa. The arcade is located in the loft as well. These bedrooms have access to 3 other full bathrooms.

Worth Mentioning
* Both the City of South Lake Tahoe & The County of El Dorado have become extremely strict in enforcement of posted rules which can be found in the rental agreement. Be sure to become familiar with said rules to avoid steep fines and visits from the authorities
* This home sits in a quiet (mostly residential) neighborhood and therefore extra consideration should be made to keep the noise down.
* This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products and 1 large towel and wash cloth per guest. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival. Laundry detergent is not provided.
* We have a strict no party policy, the registered guest will need to be 25+, excessive use of the property/ extra cleaning required/ failure to follow checkout procedures/ breach of rental agreement will result in steep additional charges and possible eviction.
Note on cancellation policy: Please note that booking a visit to Lake Tahoe comes with some risks of guests wishing to cancel and receive a refund due to natural disasters or weather related events. Our cancellation policies are strictly enforced regardless of the reason for cancellation. If you need to reschedule your date, you must be in compliance with cancellation policy first. If there is a blizzard, road closure, fire, smoke, rock slide, avalanche and/or any other natural disasters, our cancellation policy will still be enforced as we cannot expect our property owners to be held accountable for refunds for natural disasters which are expected to occur in the High Sierra Nevada Mountain Range on a constant, regular basis.
WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ALL TRAVELERS TO PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE TO ENSURE PROTECTION IN THE EVENT YOU FEEL THE NEED TO CANCEL FOR ANY REASON.
Cleaning fees also include: Maintenance, supplies, restocking costs. This pays for guest consumables (Such as laundry detergent, soaps, shampoos, starter set of paper towels, tp, etc. For longer stays, we ask guests to purchase). Replacement of items such as broken coffee makers, portable heaters, fans, linens, towels and more. Regular trash removal from bear bins to town dump. We ask guests to assist with optional checkout procedures that are very time consuming such as start dishwasher, wash a load or two of towels. While these procedures are optional for guests, they are highly appreciated to help save our cleaners time, particularly for our back to back turnovers which are very difficult in the Vacation Home Rental industry. – Thank You Lux Villa VR

Would definitely stay again! The place is awesome and the management company was great at communicating. There's a little walking path that is right next to the house so it's a 5 minute walk to the Safeway. It's a 10 minute drive to Heavenly ski resort so very easy to get some half day skiing during the week. The house itself is really nice with a lot of updated appliances. The kitchen is pretty stocked and the the management company was very responsive to replacing/fixing anything that wasn't in good condition. They also have a hot tub servicing to make sure it is cleaned regularly which is great! One heads up is that not all the outlets work and they sometimes trip the circuit. But pretty easy to avoid I would say. Overall a great stay and really really great hosts!

We had a great stay at this cabin over winter break. The house is clean, well maintained, comfortable and well stocked with essentials. It is also very conveniently located - close to restaurants, supermarkets and a 15 min drive to heavenly. The cabin is beautiful and in a wonderful location. If you’re planning on a large group using the jacuzzi make sure you bring extra towels, and know that you can not use the jacuzzi or hang out/talk outside after 10:00pm. You will feel a bit nervous with all the signs everywhere threatening 1000’s of dollars in fines if you break any rules- but don’t worry, just be reasonable about noise levels and everything will be fine. We had a great time!

The master bedroom, a second bedroom and a room with bunk beds is downstairs. Kitchen is big and stocked with plates, utensils, cutlery and some basic condiments.
Upstairs has 1 more bedroom and a loft area which has a small arcade game and a lounge area suitable for group seating.
Backyard is fenced and has a heated jacuzzi.
Overall a Beautiful house and quiet interior location. One last thing to note is there are no street lamps in he interior roads so it gets pitch dark at night while driving to the house.

Only downside is that after checking out and locking the property at 11AM we were not allowed to leave the cars in the driveway for a couple of extra hours to go for a walk in town.
Frankly given the strict parking rules in South Lake Tahoe I find it a little extreme

The location is very convenient. Everything you need is within minutes of driving or walking. The Casino is only a 15 minute drive and can be cheaply reached by taxi. The area is very very very peaceful. Very little foot and vehicle traffic. no noise issues at all. If you're looking for a fun, peaceful, and quiet family getaway. This is the spot. This area and cabin is not for parties.
