Prime location! This place was close to everything! Felt like a cozy cabin on the main living area. The hot tub was awesome after a day of snowboarding; even met some cool locals there! Host was very responsive when I had questions. Would definitely come back to stay here!

This was my second time staying here. I came back for a reason! Not only does this place feel like home to me right away, but it’s luxurious, and well appointed. I had one issue this time, where the blender broke. I emailed management, and before I returned from the grocery store, there was a new blender on my doorstep. AMAZING SERVICE! I have referred a few people to my little sanctuary away from home, because I want my family and friends to feel at ease and enjoy their Tahoe vacations as I have the last few years. I definitely will be back! Can’t beat the location, and they are very consistent at providing high-level accommodations and support.

This has been one of my favorite stays in Tahoe this season! Parking was ideal and safe, amazing views of the lake, great amenities. The Villa was perfect for my group and we enjoyed our stay so much it was hard to leave!

The only downside was not having in unit washer dryer for our ski gear and we were missing some salt/pepper when trying to cook. Other than that, we will be back!!

Good Location, clean place.

We love staying at Lakeland Village and this time was no different. Clear instructions were provided and the place was great. Walking distance to many restaurants, CVS next door and a private beach. Our only small complaint is that the water pressure in the shower is terrible. All other water pressure in the house was fine except the shower. The shower tub was also very slippery after it had been cleaned and could be a potential fall risk. I’d suggest maybe purchasing an anti-slip mat for the bottom of the tub just to avoid that. Other than that everything was wonderful.

Lake Tahoe is always fun so it was nice to get a place only a couple minutes from the water.

The first floor (2 queen beds and the bathroom) was very cool all day. Beds were comfortable but the place is a bit dated. The shower/bath faucet did not work well so it was very difficult to get a usable water temperature, but was big enough for the four of us.

2nd floor included the kitchen/living/dining room along with a loft. There is no AC. When I messaged, I was informed that "98% of homes in the basin do not have AC". There are two skylights upstairs, heating the location all day. With no windows to open on the second floor, the space became VERY warm - it was 78 degrees in the dining/kitchen area when we checked in at 5 p.m. We used a fan in front of the sliding glass door to the balcony but the loft didn't cool down until 2 a.m. making it too hot for sleeping.

Great location if you plan to be outside most of the time.

Great spot to stay. Advertised as having in-unit laundry and was told there was in-unit laundry by the host several times until I took a picture of where they told me the laundry was and sent it to them, and they recanted and told me there was no laundry. Otherwise great spot.

We had a lovely stay here. Great location - short 2 min walk to the lake, 5 min drive to Heavenly, and grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Easy check in/out. And it was a clean and cozy space. Would stay again!

Great stay! For the price it’s tough to beat this one. About $1,400 for 3 nights and it sleeps 5 comfortably. We only had 3 but there was plenty more room. The hot tub was a welcomed sight every afternoon after getting off the slopes. The host was amazing and very easy to connect with as well. Overall a great experience!

I absolutely loved staying here, the whole process was effortless. The place was very clean and plenty of space for just two people. The location is very nice and pretty quiet, walkable to heavenly village and many other sights to see. The deal we got was unbeatable for the quality of this place. We especially loved sitting by the fire with all the snow outside. The decor and furniture was also very nice and tasteful, everything was updated which I appreciated a lot. Host was quick to respond, all in all a perfect stay and great place to rent out any time of year.

Great location, and was just what we needed in a condo near the ski resorts. The unit was tricky to find. Extremely clean unit with 2 queen beds in a bedroom and the full bathroom on the first floor. 2nd floor had a nice-sized kitchen and living room. The spiral-staircase leads to the loft above and another queen and a twin bed. It was a great home base after days of skiing. Grocery stores and restaurants are close, so it was easy to cook at the unit with the cookware and dishes on hand, or take a short walk/drive to restaurants in the neighborhood (we highly recommend MacDuff's!). All-in all, we had a great stay here and would recommend!

Great stay at Lakeland Village. Reached out to host during stay a couple times with questions and they were very responsive. Unit was nicely maintained and had been upgraded relatively recently. Would stay here again.

The location of Lakeland Village is good.
Nightly rate is reasonable, but when all the additional fees are added, it is unreasonable.
The initial cost of the rental doubles after the fees are added.

The house was absolutely fantastic and the fireplace gives the home a real cosy feel. Great fridge, dishwasher and shower, perfect for a stay in South Lake Tahoe, would definitely stay here again /recommend it to anyone!

We were in town for a wedding, and this was the perfect place to stay! It was a big size, had easy access to the beach and a ton of restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend!

There are other Lakeland Village properties advertised on Airbnb, but THIS is the one you want! We were very pleasantly surprised by everything this property had to offer. Many of the reviews for Lakeland Village had us scared about "paper-thin walls" and a lack of Air Conditioning, but we had absolutely zero issues with noise in our unit which seemed to be very well insulated. Additionally the temperature in the downstairs (Master) bedroom stayed cool throughout the day because this unit is shaded from the sun the entire day. I'd say that it was easily 10 degrees (F) cooler downstairs vs. the upstairs, and easily under 70 degrees despite being 80+ degrees outside. The location can't be beat and the unit itself has literally everything that a family could need, including board games (like Jenga) and every kitchen gadget you might need. While this unit seemed to be a little more expensive than the others, I would say it's generally going to be worth the extra $75/night over the other properties listed. We stayed here on the Monday-Thursday after most schools started back in session, so we had the entire resort almost entirely to ourselves; we were literally the only ones on the beach for 2 days in a row! The pools and jacuzzi were very clean, and so were the adjacent showers and bathrooms that are open for use. Having a brand new Whole Foods right across the street (literally) was also extremely convenient. The only thing to note is that this property does not have a washer/dryer setup, but I'm not sure that any of the other units do either. We'll be attempting to book this unit on an annual basis from here on out, based on the awesome experience that we had here!

This villa was in an excellent location in South Lake Tahoe. It’s in great condition and was very clean. It provided all the options needed for a comfortable stay.

Beware nonrefundable ever even months in advance even if a medical emergency. So be sure you want to stay. The location is lovely. It was clean. Needs a bit more light and flexibility with booking. We enjoyed our stay.

In a great location near Whole Foods, restaurants and cafes and Stateline. In the fall the resort is not crowded and quite peaceful. The unit has everything you need to make all kinds of meals and lots of space to sleep or hangout.

This place was as great as the pictures showed and in a fantastic location. The hosts are good people. When the fridge stopped working, they quickly brought over a mini fridge to hold us over for our stay. Wish we had more time to stay longer!

We found this place while looking for a weekend getaway from Bay Area . The place is updated , clean and very thoughtfully redesigned . The beds were super comfortable , the loft was cozy as were the lower level bedrooms . We had few issues with the maintenance but the phone number provided where you could text and get response was super helpful and quick .
The place doesn’t have lake views but faces the courtyard inside , it’s one of the very first row of townhomes next to South Lake Tahoe blvd but the noise was low . It’s a quick walk to the lake inside the complex , the beach was secluded and empty , we took great pictures at the private pier . Also the tennis courts are good . It will be great if the host can get nest or some digital temperature controlling device in place instead of the current control which is archaic …Great place to stay relax and unwind .
