The cabin is quaint and cozy. It is perfect for 2 families with young kids. The communication with the host was very good and they were very responsive. The cabin is equipped with the right necessities.

Very informative and helpful check in and even sent message if I needed anything after checking in .

Overall a great stay! The house was clean, tidy, and the perfect spot for our girls weekend. The only downside (and reason I gave 4 stars) is how uncomfortable the bunkbed mattresses are. We had a great weekend here though and the price was great!

There were bears visiting this property during our stay every night. Be sure to have the Dumpster always well locked.

The drive in and out is beautiful. House was kept fairly clean. There was light mold in one of the showers. Enough to make notable. Other than that, happy with the experience

Beautiful stay for my family and I. The place had a large kitchen, lots of space in there as well. Pleasantly surprised with the selection of board games they had for us to play. Very spacious for my family. Plus the backyard space where we could play. Just a great place in general for a stay in Tahoe.

Comfortable beds nice fireplace kids board games. We had issue with the tv in the master bedroom the wifi didn’t want to connect so we could enjoy any tv time before bed. The kitchen didn’t have baking sheets to bake some cookies, aluminum foil so we can bbq and ziplock bags so I can take my leftovers home. And other basic essentials like sugar for coffee. Bringing sugar or ziplock bags is the last thing on my mind when planning a weekend vacation.

Great location. Prefect for two families with kids. The cabin is clean and has everything you’d need for a few days stay.

The place was great! Our only complaint were some of the mattresses in the bunk beds felt too soft/old, and had no support. other than that, everything was nice and clean!

Beautiful stay. Nice location not far from state line. Cute house just like the photos. Few of the bunk beds were super uncomfortable and one of the neighbors yelled at us and was rude trying to blame us for a noise problem when we weren’t even at the house during the time of the accusations.

This cabin was just as described, and perfect for our group of 8 (including 4 kids). Stocked with all the kitchen essentials plus more, smart tv’s in each bedroom, and plenty of board games to entertain - though we spent most of our time in nearby Heavenly village only a short 10min drive away. Quiet neighborhood day and night. Of note, we had an issue with our fridge not cooling which we noticed on day 2, we communicated with the property manager and they brought over a small replacement fridge same day, which was super helpful. We stayed in July which was super hot, but with mild night time temperatures and fans in each room, we were comfortable at night.

This location is fabulous and the property is cute and clean. I really appreciated the well furnished kitchen (great dishes/utensils/pots/etc...) The photos only show 6 chairs, but there are two folding chairs in one of the closets that work great for more than 6 guests. The two top bunks are best for older kids/adults because they don't have safety railings all the way around, but the lower bunks are great for small kids. It worked great for our group with small kids.

Location is great. Very quiet and pretty and not too far from town and or hikes and stores. The home was really nice, and clean and great for a family of 8 or less. Plenty of beds and space. For the most part everything we needed was provided. Only one call out -bbq has not been installed so if that is important check with owner before going. Also beds (outside of master are not the most comfy (but will do for a few days) -suggest bringing your own pillows! But honestly place was worth the money and our family really enjoyed our stay.

This Airbnb was perfect for our family of 8! Tons of space for what looks like a smaller home! The house was very clean and well taken care of.

We rented the place for 2 days and loved it. Everything was clean and cozy. They also had a bunch of funny games which we enjoyed playing. Overall it was a good experience. Thank you for hosting us! ❤️

The Lux Villa had the perfect layout for our trip. (Two families with 2 children). The pictures are very accurate. The place was super clean, kitchen well stocked, location is perfect. The only reason I am unable to give it a 5 stars overall is because the furnace stopped working in the middle of the coldest night of our trip and we were all up trying to sit by the fireplace. Mgmt company did send someone the next day to repair it, but having spent the night in a very cold house was not the experience we were looking for.

nice clean place only problem was bunk beds mattress. they felt like you are sleeping on box of springs not comfortable at all.

This cabin/house was a cozy stay, home away from home. Everything was clean, well stocked, and they had plenty of extra blankets to keep warm.
Between the heater and the fireplace we were able to stay nice and warm when getting home from our snow activities. We would definitely stay here again. Close enough to the city and all the fun activities we did. Super satisfied with our stay.

We had a group of 8 for this villa and there was plenty of room for all of us. The house was clean and if we had and question/concerns the property managers would reply in a timely manner. Also, we were in a good location and not far from the town.

We loved our stay here. You will not regret booking this place. The location is great and it’s very clean. The cleanest place we have ever stayed. The beds are comfortable and the towels provided are so soft. The backyard was a perfect place for my kids to play in the snow. If we had a question we got a response very quickly. I highly recommend this place. We hope to stay here the next time we visit Tahoe.

We stayed in this Airbnb from 1/13 - 1/17, and we enjoyed our stay! Here were some things that went well and things that didn’t go well:

Things that went well:
- The airbnb was clean and the kitchen was well stocked! We were a pretty big group of 8, but there were more than enough dishes and cleaning supplies for us to use over the long weekend.
- The weather was pretty cold during our stay, but the airbnb had a nice fireplace that kept the house warm and dry. It gave a very cozy feel to the place!
- Very nice location! We were ~10min away from South Lake Tahoe and Heavenly Village, so there were a lot of options for things to do around us.
- The host, Lux Villa VR, was super responsive! We ran into a few issues during our stay, but they responded quickly to our messages and fixed the issues within the day/next day.

Things that did not go well:
- Our stay was a week after the big snowstorms that hit the Tahoe area, so there was A LOT of snow around the airbnb. The driveway was covered in ice and hard to drive through, a car with AWD or chains is a MUST if you’re planning to stay while it’s snowy. We had AWD, but we sometimes still struggled to get the car over the ice in the parking area.
- Due to snow on the roof, we discovered leaks from the ceiling on the first night of our stay. One of the bunk beds and some furniture in another bedroom were soaked through. Fortunately the host was super responsive and sent someone to clear the snow on the roof the following morning! We used the couch instead of the soaked bunk bed for the rest of the trip.

All in all, most of the difficulties we had were due to the large amount of snow and ice, but this airbnb would be perfect for a summer trip! Lux Villa VR does a good job of managing this airbnb, the check in and check out processes were very smooth. I recommend this if you’re visiting Tahoe!

This is one of the best places we have stayed in at Tahoe - it’s a new listing, and everything inside the home is updated or new or remodeled. Home itself is very clean. All linen and towels were plush and clean. Beds were comfortable - our kids enjoyed the bunk bed - it was safe, secure and comfortable - which is a rare thing with these type of beds. Location is good too, with quick access to the heavenly area.
