We were exited to stay as the pictures looked great. Once we arrived Ice and snow covered the steps and was unsafe. House was very dirty, including doors, stains everywhere, doors don’t lock, hot tub lid broken, game room was a joke nothing was in good order. Has a bad rodent problem as well, could hear them in the walls. Heat didn’t function great , either cold upstairs and hot downstairs or vice versa. Many of the outlets didn’t work. Very displeased with the amount of money we spent. Trash was also full when we got there so we had to keep trash in home which was not ideal.

We had a great time here. The rooms are nicely sized, with the upstairs rooms being particularly large. It was a great setup for 3 families with girls and boys rooms upstairs. There’s a grill outside and a hot tub, too. The house is not too far from the main road, so on those snowy days where the plowing is lacking, it shouldn’t take too long to get in and out.

We were visited by a bear at 2am that would have gotten in had we not locked the doors. It tried the front door and went around the windows and sliding patio doors trying to get in. It did get into an unlocked car, so be sure to lock your cars and the home, especially at night.

I wouldn't recommend this place.
House was put together cheaply with unfinished things here and there which made our lengthy trip somewhat unpleasant and a concern for safety of our children. The laundry door to the outside knob was broken and won't lock. Many outlets don't work and popped out of wall as well as light fixtures. The balcony rail was wobbly and had nails sticking out of posts. House is not taken care of and needs a makeover. Pictures look better than reality. Needs deep cleaning. Doors and kitchen cabinets filthy. Not what I would expect for a vacation rental. I hope the hosts make some changes and not ignore the reviews. Otherwise the house was ready to accommodate a big party and is in a great location close to lake and nearby grocery stores.

Perfect house for a snowboard/ski trip. Check-in was a breeze, and the house has all the amenities necessary. The pool table, dartboard and hot tub is a huge plus for relaxing after the slopes

Clean and cozy environment. Seems somewhat larger in pictures. Great host with quick and prompt communication. Central heat worked well downstairs but not upstairs. The game room upstairs with pool table is great! Nice and spacious. Overall, we enjoyed our stay with the exception of the lack of proper heat in the upstairs. Location was very convenient. Near stores, restaurants and sledding facilities.

The house was visible and not hidden from the street so arrive was easy to find. The house was clean and tidy, all the beds were comfortable, overall this was a nice stay. Only concern was the hot tub in the back if you have problems getting it to run then contact the owner they said it would heat up in a few hours during our first day there, but it took overnight so weren't able to use it until the next day, just beware that might happen if you want to use it

This is a great space for families, we enjoyed the location as it was in a cute little town very close to Lake Tahoe. The rooms all were very nice sized and we loved the upstairs room with the pool table, darts and board games as well. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner and there was a nice market walking distance for groceries.
