From the home, you can walk to numerous shops, restaurants, walk or drive to Heavenly Gondola. There are buoys available to rent to tie up your boat or water toy, just a couple of hundred feet from the property next door.

Please be advised that The City of South Lake Tahoe has implemented very aggressive enforcement of some Vacation Home Rental Ordinances with a zero tolerance policy. Failure to abide will result in a $1000 owner to guest, and $1000 citation to owner. Guests are liable to pay owner's citation if you were at fault.

1. No excessive noise anytime. No amplified music, loud talking outdoors. No Jacuzzi or any talking outside during quiet hours 10pm-8am. It’s ok to make reasonable speaking noise, play board games, watch tv, etc. inside the home, with windows closed during quiet hours.
2. No more than the maximum occupancy is allowed on the property at any time. If you have friends renting other units or staying at other property, you may not occupy the inside of one unit if it will exceed the maximum occupancy. You may however occupy the back lawn and other common areas. If code enforcement shows up, they will ask how many guests you have. Make sure you do not exceed the maximum occupancy.
3. No parties, special events, weddings, bachelor/ette parties are allowed at any time.
4. No visible trash may be left outside due to bears. All trash should be deposited inside a bear resistant trash bin.

Other rules:

1.Smoking or vaping of any product is not allowed in the unit or anywhere on the Sierra Shores property.
2.Pets are not allowed on the property
3.Please park cars only inside your garage or 1 of the 5 on site overflow parking spots. Or unlimited overflow parking across the street at Safeway. Please DO NOT PARK in the on site managers spot by front gate. DO NOT PARK in an area that may block other cars.

The PERFECT South Lake Tahoe location. I almost don’t want to review this so it doesn’t get booked out 😉

The amenities were all great but what really makes this place stand out is the quality everywhere. The perfect location for families, the perfect compound for
Families. My kid was running around on the grass, then walked down from a private staircase to the beach. Each condo feels so private. We ended up just buying groceries and eating at home the whole time since it’s the best view of the lake. You can’t get better views than that

We had a wonderful stay here. The setting is magnificent, and the beach below was a great place to hang out. The parking lot is a bit tight, and the pool/hot tub was not impressive, but overall the location and amenities within the house were fantastic.

SPECTACULAR view from the living room! Sometimes you see a listing and think maybe there's been some photoshoping or tricky photography to play up the view, but that is not the case here! FANTASTIC location near everything - Safeway across the street, restaurants, ice cream shops, breweries, etc. And the beach just right there!

The pool was maybe a little dirty, but the kids didn't mind one bit and spent some time there too. Really a perfect spot for us - our family of 4 plus 2 grandparents.

It is a very nice apartment( not townhouse) right by the lake on the first floor. Tax about 200$ is not included in the receipt. You can only park 1 car and the other cars need to be parked at Safeway which is about 10mins walk. The management company said they only provide cookware but there were enough cookwares and tablewares. Location is wonderful, very close to heavenly. Would recommend to others, but it could do better on this price.

A quiet oasis if you need to stay in SLT. The Sierra Shores driveway is directly off of Hwy 50, but once inside, you can (almost) forget it's there. (You do hear traffic noise when the windows in the back of the unit are open, but not when they are closed. And not at all from the front of the unit.) Great view of the lake and very nice grounds--pretty landscaping, clean, and well-maintained. Our grandkids loved playing on the grass--and the beach. Top of the line appliances and well-stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, plus extra pillows and towels. Units 7 and 8 are located next to the pathway to the beach so are a little less private than some of the other Sierra Shores units, but that wasn't a problem during our stay.

The parking is horrible and parking in Safeway is a joke for the price we paid. The garage cannot be accessed so it isn’t even an option with any four door vehicle. The sound from the upstairs neighbors is annoying and in general if felt to me that the property was marketed as a townhouse meaning you wouldn’t have people on top of you. This is more of an apartment. The furnishings are basic and not in great shape. The only highlight is the backyard views and location close to everything else. However, all in all we won’t be back and can do better for the money we spent.

We chose this property for our family vacation and were disappointed that the location of the unit left the peace and comfort of our family up to which upstairs neighbors we were unfortunate enough to have during our stay. During our week, the upstairs guests stomped, danced, yelled and slam doors for hours and hours and continued this practice until after midnight. Also, we were unable to serve meals during our stay due to the dishes being chipped and very dangerous to use, the non-stick cookware was very old, didn’t work and had burned on flavors. Sadly, we found the chairs in the unit very dirty and unusable. I had hoped to relax and enjoy our vacation this year after being in lock-down for so long, but this was a horrible experience to say the least. I will say, the grounds and pool were kept up and the layout of the 3br 3bath townhouse were nice, but we would not return to the Sierra Shores property.

Other reviews are pretty spot on. Pros: Amazing location - it is right on the lake. Also super convenient with Safeway across the road.
Cons: Sound proofing between floors - we could hear quite a bit of commotion coming from upstairs the first night but after they left, the rest of the stay was restful and relaxing.
Would definitely stay again - for the views alone!
